D. Bryant Liggins hails from East Orange, New Jersey. He is a child of the 60’s and, like many of us, was ‘babysat by the TV’. He has been a writer for as long as he can remember. He always has ideas on how to improve or create new elements to make life easier and safer. Currently, he has two U.S. Patents with one which will help protect and support school children’s safety in the classroom and has a children’s book prepared, “A Monkey for President”. Much of his favorite writing includes stories in the supernatural genre. Bryant likes anything that is silly and can sit for hours watching old and new comedy series, and is now hooked on the newest craze, You Tube Videos. Bryant met John while helping organize recovery-related marches and has helped on political campaigns for both Democrats and Republicans. When Bryant found that John had some interest in his writing, they became fast friends. John and Bryant have written a few short stories together and separately. Along with another friend they wrote a series screenplay pilot starring their friend and mentor, Rip Taylor as the lead. Unfortunately, due to his sudden passing, it was never able to come to fruition. Though John has some celebrity, when the two are together, Bryant is the one who everyone seems to never forget due to his positive and witty nature.
Bryant has written a children’s picture book, “Even a Monkey Can Be President” and has a few US Patents including a children’s protective vest giving parents the ability to know where their child is at all times. Bryant is always willing to be of assistance if anyone needs anything and is of service to his fellow beings whenever he can. With the screenplay of Skye Bleu, Bryant’s detail-orientated rewrites and recommendations have helped it become what it is today.
